The debut of Dragon Palace in 2008 was met with jubilation from locals looking for more dining options in Northbridge. With its chic decorations, this refined restaurant brings foodies into another dimension where culture, dining, and entertainment are all combined together.

After owner Maggie Cai took over, she decided to change things around a bit by combining entertainment with fine dining. To do so, she expanded the original restaurant, Dragon Seafood Restaurant, turning it into one of the largest restaurants in Perth. The two-story building is furnished with avant-garde decorations and features several distinct areas inside. Aside from the spacious dining hall on the first floor, there are also karaoke rooms upstairs equipped with advanced sound systems in order to appeal to everyone who stops by. Dragon Palace’s 400-seat dining room is ideal for corporate events, live performances, business meetings, and Christmas parties. Dragon KTV, is also perfect for social gatherings, parties, and entertainment events.

Yet, even with the great facilities, it is apparent that food is definitely the focus of the restaurant. Featuring authentic Cantonese cuisine, including dim sum, Dragon Palace takes pride in serving customers with a lengthy list of Cantonese creations. The chefs are hired from either Hong Kong or Mainland China, and each of them is a master in their field.

In just a few short years, it has helped to substantially spice up Perth’s already breathtaking dining scene with its scintillating interpretation of Chinese cuisine and is a favorite of locals and also celebrities.
